On-Line Help Files
These SNMP / CLI Agent Development On-Line Help Files are either self-extracting *.EXE files or Compiled HTML *.CHM files. To view the CHM file the MS Windows security settings may require you to download and "Unblock" the CHM file first. If it applies to you, the procedure is as follows:
- When you select the help file's link choose to save the file rather than opening it.
- Open a Windows Explorer and go to the directory the file is saved in.
- Right click on the downloaded file and select the "Properties" menu.
- At the bottom of the Properties page you may notice a Security warning that says "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer". Click on the "Unblock" button and "Apply" the change.
The help file can now run on your desktop.
